How does Publift deal with other currencies?
Our dashboard allows publishers to select which currency they want to see their earnings in. We convert network partner earnings based on the indexed exchange rate on the day the data is collected.
As Publift works with over 20 different network partners, based in more than 5 countries - we need to convert all earnings to your selected currency and adapt reporting to UTC time zone. Here's how our system collects data and converts it to your preferred currency:
- Our API collects impressions and earnings data from each network partner account
- The data is added to our cloud-based database
- In the database, we store the international exchange rates from OpenExchangeRates.org
- When a publisher chooses which currency they would like to see their earnings in - we apply the exchange rate above to convert the numbers collected from the network partners
- Publisher's see their combined or individual network partner estimated earnings in their preferred currency
- Payments - for publishers getting paid in AUD - we pay the amounts directly displayed in the dashboard in line with our payment terms here. For publishers getting paid in other currencies - we take the AUD total in the dashboard and convert this to your preferred currency on the day of the payment. This means there may be a small variation in your estimated earnings in the dashboard and finalised earnings paid to your bank account in your currency of preference.
